150 Capacity Club Plans to be “Mecca for All Things Underground”

Substation

SEATTLE – Today owners Ken Wallace, Dave West and Jeremy Rudo announce the grand opening of Seattle Substation, a new 150 person capacity live music venue located at 645 45th St. NW between Fremont and Ballard. Substation’s owners plan to have local, regional and touring acts perform 7 nights a week. Talent buyer for the club is local musician, graphic artist and promoter TBASA.

“We are bringing an underground warehouse feel to the city,” TBASA says. “This isn’t your Belltown dance club. Substation is an old school warehouse party with a full service bar.”

“As the city continues to lose small, independently owned and operated live music venues, a sense of community is what Substation’s owners, employees and talent buyer want to bring to the club,” TBASA says. “This is a place that has good sound. Where bands know in advance how much they’ll get paid and always do. Where bands stick around to watch the full sets of the other bands on the bill. Basically, we want to be a mecca for all things underground in Seattle.”
