British musical icon Bryan Ferry has announced his first North American Tour in three years.  The Can’t Let Go Tour will feature an incredible set list of hits, favorites and rarities spanning 40 years of career highlights. Ferry will also make his Coachella debut in Indio this April.

Currently, Ferry is in the studio working on new material, having been inspired by last year’s release of the acclaimed album The Jazz Age with The Bryan Ferry Orchestra.  In addition, his music is reaching a new audience with remixes and remakes of his classics by artists such as Groove Armada and Todd Terje (https://soundcloud.com/bryanferry/sets/dont-stop-the-dance-remixes).

The Infamous Stringdusters consist of Andy Falco (guitar), Travis Book (bass), Jeremy Garrett (fiddle), Andy Hall (dobro), and Chris Pandolfi (banjo). They sound like no one else, combining virtuosic chops on five traditional bluegrass instruments, with an ethos of pushing the genre forward. The Stringdusters’ live shows take improvised string band music to new places, combining musicianship and songwriting with experimental performance and a contagious energy flowing between the band and crowd. Their groundbreaking musical proficiency is earning them critical acclaim, awards, and nominations aplenty; and has even attracted the attention of musical legends Phil Lesh and John Scofield, who have joined The ‘Dusters on stage to offer up unforgettable, raucously crowd-pleasing sit-ins.

“The Infamous Stringdusters don’t leave bluegrass behind; they’re stretching it from within.”

~ Jon Pareles, The New York Times

Manchester Orchestra will release Cope on April 1, 2014 through their recent partnership with Loma Vista Recordings and their very own Favorite Gentlemen Recordings. The new full-length album from the Atlanta-based band was self-produced alongside their long-time collaborating partner Dan Hannon, and mixed by John Agnello at Fluxivity Studios in Brooklyn. They recorded the entire record in the home studio they built themselves after six months spent gutting and refurbishing the old house they used to live in together. The follow up to 2011′s Simple Math, Cope the band’s critically acclaimed and highest charting album to date, is an unrelenting and unapologetically heavy 38 minutes of rock. Manchester Orchestra will hit the road this spring, performing songs from the new album for fans on a headline two-month tour of North America.

Three years ago, Baths dropped his startlingly beautiful debut, Cerulean. Released on Anticon, the record blurred the line between post-modern pop and the LA beat scene with devastating emotional clarity. Its tone was as celestial as its album title, taken from a shade of blue typically used to describe the sky.

Cerulean earned year-end “Best Of” recognition from Pitchfork and The Onion’s A.V. Club and established Chatsworth-raised Will Wiesenfeld as one of the finest young composers (and falsettos) in Los Angeles. His sophomore album, Obsidian finds him emerging as one of the most complete artists of his generation. As you might expect, the name hints at darker overtones. The mood is shimmering and pitch-black, the lovely blood flow has turned into lava.
