LIMB GIRDLE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY
SEATTLE, Washington (March 22, 2013) Rockers from all over the Puget Sound are performing a fundraising concert on April 6th for “Sarah”, a little girl with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy, a term for a group of diseases that cause weakness and wasting of the muscles in the arms and legs. The muscles most affected are those closest to the body (proximal muscles), specifically the muscles of the shoulders, upper arms, pelvic area, and thighs. The concert will be at Louie G’s Pizzeria, one of Washington State’s premier music venues.
The bands volunteering their music performances are Amanda Hardy, Lady Justice, In the Between and Sevens Revenge. The all-ages show starts at 8pm. Monetary donations appreciated.
